Welcome to Peer-based Support

Working Well Online Communication Forum Moderation Mission Statement

Peer-based SupportWorking Well is a unique community of individuals who are impacted by mild to moderate depression in the workplace – either through their own experience or caring for a colleague, a friend or family member. Others may simply be looking to share ways in which to work and stay well!

To this end, the Working Well Online Communication Forums are consistently moderated by a Team of trained volunteers to ensure that, at all times, Working Well meets – and exceeds – high levels of service provision and covers matters pertaining to Duty of Care.  Moderators may, where deemed necessary, step in when clients breach the Working Well Online Communication Forum Guidelines and/or where it is identified that a client/s requires a heightened level of support.

Please be aware that all posts contributed to the Working Well Online Communication Forums are screened by Moderators, however, due to the dynamic nature of the service, the posts go live prior to being screened. If a Moderator does not immediately identify a post that may have breached the Working Well Online Communication Forum Guidelines for Use, clients are encouraged to contact the Working Well Administration Team by pressing the ‘Report’ button relevant to the particular post. The Working Well Administration Team will respond to your request in a timely fashion and determine whether any action is required.

Whilst the Working Well Administration Team encourages clients to express their opinions, we also require that you respect others. The Working Well Online Communication Forum Guidelines are designed to allow a free flow of ideas and opinions, whilst allowing the forums to maintain a polite and professional atmosphere, free from insults, abuse, and defamatory comments.

This entails that the bulk of the responsibility for maintaining the professionalism of the  Working Well Online Communication Forums lies with you, the client. If you wish to take issue with something someone has said, then please do so in a non-threatening and respectful manner, thereby bypassing the need for moderation, including editing and/or removal of the post by the Working Well Moderation Team.
